Suzannegail is an abstract mixed media artist based in the Columbia River Gorge. Originally from Australia and Canada, she finds inspiration for her paintings in her background and travels. She names characters in her work to reflect her family’s heritage.

Her work focuses on large canvases and is influenced by the landscapes and experiences she encounters outdoors. Suzannegail uses layers of color and texture to create strong visual impacts in her art.

In addition to painting, Suzannegail founded a small, independent not-for-profit donkey sanctuary. Outside her studio and the sanctuary, she and her family enjoy the many activities The Gorge offers.
